Technology News Bytes presents the 3rd Annual Social Media Awards honoring “The Top 5” during the 2013 Hawaii Social Media Summit taking place on October 25-26, 2013 at the Neil Blaisdell Center from 9:00am-5:00pm.
12 social media influencers have been chosen by Technology News Bytes & Emerging New Media to be nominated for the “Top 5″ Social Media Award!
These individuals have greatly and eloquently impacted their community through a variety of social media platforms . “The Top 5″ will be chosen by you, the public. Voting ends on August 31, 2013! The Awards will take place on Friday October 25th during lunch.
“We are switching things up this year by having the public vote for their favorite influencer from a highly qualified pool of people who have had an significant impact on their communities through a variety of social media platforms. Social Media has evolved and we want to recognize the once who have successfully grown with the social media evolution.” says co-owner Quincy Solano of Technology News Bytes.

Anne is a creative writer, broadcast producer, public relations, media and marketing strategy person. She’s received every international marketing and advertising award, including the prestigious CLIO, IBA, ANDY and ADDY awards. She was awarded SMEI’s Distinguished Sales & Marketing Executive “Marketing Genius” Award for 2012. Currently, she is director of marketing and business development for Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor.
Brandon is an advertising and marketing guy. You might know him from his LinkedIn/Twitter posts on industry related updates. He has over 15 years of experience working with brands and creating strategies for them to better engage their customers. He also has background on developing synergies with traditional marketing campaigns and social media to extend “conversations. Currently, he is a Marketing Manager at simplicityHR, a division of ALTRES.

Since 2007, Christine Hitt has been the digital media manager for HONOLULU Magazine, of which includes managing HONOLULU’s social media accounts. She is also very active on her own personal accounts.
